Committee holds hearing on Iraqi Political/Bush Admin/Corporate war profiteering - waste, fraud, and abuse -- no one shows to listen and the media is virtually silent (even though one of the whistleblowers was an Iraqi Judge who headed the accountability office in Iraq and had to flee after several assassination attempts.)

And, to say, to his credit, I believe Cochran stuck around for the whole thing, although he might have had to per protocol as Leahy had left. Cochran is the Ranking Member and Leahy was filling in for Byrd.

Bushinc continues using telecoms for domestic
surveillance and wiretapping on the premise
that the Dems will eventually cave.
