Edited on Wed Mar-12-08 04:07 AM by FrenchieCat
And don't let the media spin you any other way.

Hillary Clinton would love Barack Obama to be the Black Candidate so that she could become the mainstream candidate, and lord knows she tried. But......

ask yourself who got the majority of the White vote in Wyoming, Wisconsin, Washington State and Vermont (just rambling off states in alpha order backwards) and quite a few other states?
The answer would be Barack Obama.

So let them shit on themselves while they figure out how to attempt to further diminish Barack Obama by making him a one dimensional Candidate, and know that it ain't nothing but some damn spin....and if anything, Barack Obama not only does well with Whites, but he does wayyyyy better than Hillary Clinton with the Black Vote, and that will make a difference come November. Sure, he'll have to work harder to garnet the Hispanic vote, but please, don't let them have you believing that Brown Brothers and Sisters dislike Black candidates, cause that's a bunch of shit too.

For whatever reason, as the various hues of people in these United States start to agree on things, there are forces who want to divide us. Don't let them. They are the evil ones, and in the end, evil will lose! Fuck the cynics, The Hate Peddlers and Pundit Meisters....cause they know not what they do.

Instead, let them unite us cause YES, WE CAN...Stand together and put Barack Obama into the White House this November!

PEACE!

:patriot:

34. LOL! You flamed the flamer!

I agree. MSM is out of control and trying to spin the race so it will continue.
In order to do that, they need to slow Obama's momentum. Grrr.

Doesn't seem to be working out so far with the kitchen sink and all.

Frenchie, that was an awesome post! I wholeheartedly agree with most of it, however I have noticed on the TV she is being called out more. (Not counting Fox) Too many people are seeing it for what it is, spin. I have been so proud of some of the pundits, finally standing up to what is right.

Also Pelosi, today that was awesome and very telling, don't you think?

14. I think it almost time to make a move.....
because what Hillary and her supporters don't realize is that the Democratic party is not her play toy. She is not going to alienate an entire voting Block of the Democratic party as part of her scortch earth politics. Just like many of us saw the lies in the lead up to the Iraq war, many see now what a fraud Hillary Clinton truly is. She's playing with fire, and she's about to get burned.

10. He got 90% of "the Black Vote" which says to any reasonable person that...
...in a "Red State," that a Democratic Presidential candidate hasn't won since 1976, that "the Black Voters" voted for him because he's "black," ergo, those facts would lead any reasonable person to conclude that he is "the black candidate."

Of course, I would never accuse you or anyone who would post such ridiculous crap like this, of being a reasonable person.:eyes:

the "Black Candidate". Considering those facts, I'm sure that you can see it that way, since this is undeniable, even for the best liars.

But more importantly, please know that we are not so stupid as to go by solely the results of the last primary and ignore what else has happened in this long ass contest, and I'm sure that isn't what you expect us to do.

However, if that is what you expect, than, urh....you're Up2Late.

it couldn't have had anything to do with Hillary or her pundits polarizing comments could it?

Where was all the black vote before SC? She was getting most of it then.

Looks like they realized who was better.

By the way I am a white woman, and she has turned me off completely. This country needs to move forward not backward.

I think for the GE, Obama can do better than that. I guarantee it. And he will do it with the youth as well. They will show up if he is the nominee. It will be like a fever that catches. Mark my words!

I have a friend, a 50 year old black lady, that voted for the first time ever in the TN primary for Obama. She isn't an aberration. Her sons had never voted before either, but did this year.

36. Obama keeps getting higher and higher percentages of the AA vote
You think it might have something, just something, to do with the race baiting coming from the other side? If you were AA and you saw Geraldine Ferrarro say what she did would you be likely to vote for Hillary? I didn't think so....

16. 25% is great progress - Now, about the AA voters and women voters --
Let's stop bashing people if they decide to vote for Obama because they are AA or for Hillary if they are women. Some people vote the issues, some vote charisma, some race, some gender, some ethnicity, some religion, some because they want vote the way their friends/family are voting, etc. etc. etc. Let's just take that as a fact and move on.

Obama will be a very strong candidate against McCain, and I hope we keep hearing the video of Bill Clinton telling people to vote for the candidate who urges you to HOPE and THINK.

Not only was that progress in MS, but the threshold in other traditionally "divided" states (e.g., MSNBC indicated he got 40% of the white vote in GA), is historic. This is not even counting many states with less than 2% of black voters who overwhelmingly supported Obama at a rate of 50% or greater versus other candidates.

The key is that this man has until the Clinton smear campaign kicked into high gear, managed to finally transcend race and appeal to the needs and concerns of ALL Americans and I salute my fellow Americans for rising to the occassion!!!

:grouphug:

But sadly, once again, the oldest tactic in the book to divide and conquer, always seems to rear its ugly head. How this will play out in this day and time is somewhat unknown but hopefully the average person will not only be able to recognize it for what it is - a hateful, desperate measure, but for those in states that have yet to vote, I hope they come out and vote FOR the candidate that they would truly like to have (even if that person is not on the ballot), not AGAINST a candidate because of obnoxious rhetoric unrelated to qualifications. If you like Clinton, then vote for her. If you like Obama, then vote for him.

32. I have a hunch it would be higher than 25% if it were not for the ditto-head crossover
that is trying to keep Clinton in the race as long as possible. Because the Republicon race is over, that is going to be a problem for now on in any open primary.

The good news is I think Pennsylvania is a closed primary.

Funny about the 5% "other" that voted for Obama (that will not ever be mentioned by the press). That's a relatively large group, considering. Wonder who those folks are?
