I have a tough time seeing Edwards endorse anyone
If he was going to do it, why not do it before Super Tuesday? Back then it might've meant something. Now his supporters have moved on to a new candidate and won't switch this late. If Edwards was planning an endorsement, I see no reason for him to wait so long.

1. The North Carolina Primaries are
May 13th so we'll see if Edwards "endorses" anyone and why.

3. I've read that he isn't as revered there as people think.

He was a one term senator there. Certainly not on the level that Ted Kennedy is in Massachusetts for example and we saw how much effect that had.

8. Some of us are thinking that Obama
did as well as he did in Mass because of Kennedy's, Kerry's, and Patrick's endorsements. Ned Lamont's sure musta helped in Conn :) Who knows how or why some states vote in the majority.

2. He'll probably come out and say the same thing all the other leaders are saying...
Go with the will of the people. Whomever has the most delegates, wins my support.

5. No offense to Edwards intended, but he's no longer an issue.
He chose to leave the race. He chose to not endorse another candidate. Most of the rest of us have moved on. After this much time, I don't see his endorsement as meaning much.

6. He may be trying to play "Party Elder" and wait until June to endorse and try to end the arguments
Along with Gore and any other party "big wigs" who have yet to endorse. I don't think anyone wants to wait until the convention to settle this.

9. John who? He faded away, intended or not. He couldnt even carry NC for Kerry so big wup.
Just like authors and playwrights who are revered after death, he is this saintly man now that he's out. St. Edwards.
