Why Obama is Guilty.
Here is why guilty by association works for all the Hillary supporters; That is the same logic that makes her so qualified to be the President. Her husband was President so because of that association she is the most qualified to be "ready on day one". And Obama is associated with a pastor who said, what some would consider anti-American statements, so Obama himself is Anti-American. Forget what you actually do, say, or believe, it's all about what everyone else says or does that defines a person.

1. Obama is quilty because he says "words matter".
He sat in a church for 20 years and didn't hear the words? His story is unbelievable.

3. Hannity has all of the tapes.
If there were more, they would have been played.

11. or maybe they are saving them for later?
If I were Hannity (thankfully i'm not because i wouldn't be able to look myself in the mirror) but if I were a sleaze like Hannity, I'd be sprinkling these tapes like pepper between now and november to keep the story relentlessly in the headlines to either tear the party apart at the seams or to crush BO in the GE..

23. The law of diminishing returns
stipulates that Hannity (or whoever) has already gotten the maximum benefit from this, and that further airings of further clips will be less and less interesting to smaller and smaller groups of people. Particularly when you're talking about a scandal that's broken in March instead of October.

If he's saved a video of Wright saying something unbelievably heinous, then there would be problems. But he already aired a clip of Wright saying that America deserved 9-11, which for over six years now has been The Worst Thing Anyone Can Posssibly Say, and he already demanded Obama's resignation from the Senate and that he quit the presidential race. The only way he can enhance this demand is if he calls on Obama to commit seppuku.

He's already turned it up to 11, as it were, so there's nowhere worse for this to go. If this is going to sink Obama, it's going to do it now or in the next couple of weeks at the most. It will be old news by May, and extremely old news by July. In September people will just wonder why they're running that footage again.

It's now or never. If Obama's going to get torpedoed out of the race by Wright, it has to be now.

28. I didn't know Hannity....
demanded Obama's resignation from the Senate. That is hilarious. Who does he think he is??? Does he really think his demands carry any weight with anyone outside of the goof troop at Fox News? What a joke.

32. I laughed out loud when I heard about that.
I didn't actually see it happen though --- I saw it reported here, actually, in a "real time" thread that people were doing while they watch that fucking idiot's show.

I couldn't actually bring myself to watch. I've managed not to watch Fox News for years, and I wasn't about to start again.

34. Hannity is unwatchable for more than ten seconds.
I can watch almost any of these other idiot commentators for up to a few minutes, but Hannity just starts working my nerves almost immediately. He reminds me of all the hostile yuppie jocks who I went to high school with, who worshipped Ronald Reagan and told AIDS jokes.

36. Colmes seems much better, from what little of him I have seen
When they showed the original interview with Wright, Colmes actually seemed interested in the truth and informing the viewing. Naturally they had to end the segment before Colmes got anywhere though.

is that people seem to think that this guy said things like that every week for 20 years, and that just because he said it Obama believes it.

17. The point isnt
if he agrees with him or not. If Wright were to say something like "I hate puppies" do you think Obama would feel the same way just because Wright said it. You can't hold Obama responsible for what Wright says, thats the point.

14. Personally... I don't care what Wright had to say...
To a really left wing liberal, he actually kinda makes sense.

But it isn't about the radical left. It's about the middle... and the middle are going to be offended by the anti-patriotic bent of Wrights passages no matter how intended.

24. Do you know what he said about Holloway?
Has it ever occurred to you that the phrase "give it up" also refers to death?

Doesn't it bother you that millions of brown children go missing or are murdered and that those cases never make the national news?

As for his references to Hillary, how were they anti-female? Is it because he didn't use his honey voice?

25. It wasn't just Wright's flaming rhetoric...it was the entire congreation cheering, jeering
clapping.....they ALL believe and support those awful words. You cannot convince me it was in only one speech. That's a man's life long belief and his followers that have joined his views. There is NO way Obama did not hear that filth spewed.
