Can someone PLEEZE get Hillary and her stooge off my TV???
I cannot believe what I just heard the ex-President of the United States of America stoop to.

I voted for the man twice and until 3 months ago would have voted for Hillary, lock stock and smoking chad.

I'm done with them. She gets my vote never. They ain't Democrats anymore, so don't tell me that not voting for her is a vote for the Republican agenda. She IS the republican agenda.

:hurts:

:puke:

what Bill did/said that gave birth to this torrent of threads, but keep getting waylaid by other threads along the way :7.

Could you enlighten me? Thanks. :headbang:

16. and here's the actual quote
where he doesn't even mention Hillary, McCain OR Obama.

"I think it would be a great thing if we had an election year where you had two people who loved this country and were devoted to the interest of this country," said the former president. "And people could actually ask themselves who is right on these issues, instead of all this other stuff that always seems to intrude itself on our politics."

20. Saved me a trip --
I really don't find anything wrong with his statement at all. It's gotten to the point where nobody can say a thing without everyone second guessing -- and KNOWING -- the REAL meaning. :eyes:

Thanks, maddiejoan.

15. Chuck Todd: Bill Clinton's statements today very troubling
Source: MSNBC

Bill Clinton has made remarks that seem to undermine Senator Obama's patriotism.

The remarks which include a statement to the effect that a "Clinton-McCain raise would be between two people who love the country without all of this other stuff" (paraphrase)

Todd was asked when he stopped by MSNBC and they were reading the excerpt to him.

He said that the full text was not good and a 'terrible read'. He could not figure out what Clinton was saying that would be good for his wife's campaign.

Should be big news in one hour

10. I just heard Bill Richardson doesn't even want the VP spot.
He didn't even endorse Obama for that reason. That makes this endorsement so much bigger than just personal gain!

13. Seriously? Do you have a link?
I think Richards will have a great spot for him in the cabinet or as an adviser. But I have to really give him credit if he did it without a VP concession.

17. Where did you hear that?
And, why do you believe it?

I REALLY like Richardson, but I'm just so suspicious of most moves the politicians make, that I automatically assume that there's an "agreement" somewhere in the works.

That being said, I'm not sure that a Hispanic VP is something the party wants to present because SO MANY Republicans feel that the hispanics are our enemy. (See? I automatically assume they will choose a VP that will help beat -- and win over -- some Repubs, rather than just doing the right thing.)

Okay, I'll put it on. :tinfoilhat:

29. Exactly.
A vote for them is a vote for the status quo, which is no better. Why would I reward the party that got it wrong with my vote if she got the nomination? Screw them. They don't deserve my vote.

It's pure nausea without a hint of comic relief. How the HELL could we stand looking at those smug, lying, sanctimonious and hypocritical faces for four years? God forbid!
