For the first time in my life, a president is stopping in my town!
Yep, my RED, RED little town in Indiana! I think the SS will be in my backyard because the rally will be at a school a few yards away from where I live!

He'll probably drive through our town in the motorcade and think "my oh my, these people have really been oppressed!". The housing going through the main streets looks awful especially at this time of the year with no color.

Anyway, even though I am an Obama supporter, I will say I will vote for Hillary if she wins. I am very excited to see Bill Clinton even if he has made me mad a few times recently. I don't understand why they're stopping here because the social environment around here is not very friendly for a Dem. But I'm happy.Maybe this will encourage Obama to come here now, too!!

3. You bet I'm going!
I wouldn't miss seeing a president that is practically at my back doorstep! Luckily, I'm off work that day. I get off work at 5:30am so I'll have to miss a few hours of shut eye to get in line. There are no VIP passes so it'll be first come first serve!

5. I hope you get in, sounds like a great experience to be had.
Stop for a coffee latte on the way! It wouldn't do to fall asleep at this, course if you did, we might all see you on Youtube!

Go Obama!

4. Hillary was here Thurs. she is even prettier in person than her
best pictures. A nursing home on the motorcade route had their patients outside in their wheelchairs. Hillary made an unscheduled stop and greeted and chatted and she and her entourage sang 'happy birthday' to a 99 yr old lady who was holding a sign that said 'you go girl'. She chatted and joked with people everywhere she stopped. She made a great impression here. Not snobish or arrogant like some who think they are important.

13. You're right, Hillary is much prettier in person.
She's also charming and has a great sense of humor. I'm glad that you enjoyed her visit.

8. Glad you are grabbing the opportunity! In my little Nevada hometown,

all kinds of people turned out for the several big names who showed.
Good times were had by all, I'm told. :bounce:

9. This is what the Democratic Party needs to continue to do...
The party has to rebuild from the ground up. The repukes did this for 20 years and and bled voters away. Now it's the Dem's turn.

10. A agree. I am precinct chairman for my own precinct and
I'm noticing that all the old faithful Dems are dying off and they're NOT being replaced with new ones. At least around here because the young ones aren't coming back once they leave, and if they do, they're usually Republican kids who have old family businesses that they come back and run and take over. Thus, the Republicans dominate this town politically and economically.
