In retrospect
There would have been less conflict if it had been either Hillary or Obama running against the traditional white guy.

Getting down off my soapbox and leaving now. Carry on with slashing, trashing, and torching each other.

3. things did get ugly once all the white guys were out!
I'm not sure how much that has to do with the race to be the history-setter, the "you're a sexist, no you're a racist!" thing, vs. just being easier to attack when it's one on one. The third person can look like they're above it (though that didn't help Edwards enough). I hope soon we can move on to fierce attacks on McCain instead of within Dems.
