Dave Matthews to perform free concert for Obama in Indiana
CHANGE ROCKS: DAVE MATTHEWS AND TIM REYNOLDS TO PERFORM SPECIAL SHOW IN SUPPORT OF BARACK OBAMA

Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds are teaming up to perform a special acoustic show to raise awareness of Barack Obama's presidential campaign this Sunday, April 6, 2008 at Indiana University in Bloomington. Presented by Indiana University Union Board (which does not endorse a political candidate) and Students for Obama, Change Rocks: A Very Special Evening with Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds is free for all Indiana residents. The Change Rocks event will be held at Assembly Hall with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. EDT and the concert scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. EDT.

A ticket and Indiana state ID or in-state student ID will be required for admission, which is on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets are limited to two (2) per person. For ticket locations,

7. I'm an Obama supporter. Dave Matthews leaves me slightly lukewarm.
I've seen him play live at stuff like the Bridge Benefit. I like some of his songs, I think the dude's got SERIOUS talent--- but he seems unwilling to excessively challenge the sort of jam-lite mentality of (some of) his frathouse listener demographic.

There was a GREAT DMB song I heard on the radio about a year ago, and I've never been able to find it again.. very energetic and trippy, can't remember any of the words or anything- but I'm sure if I heard it again I would recognize it.

He is politically active, and he gets big props for that.

Lotta big artists getting on the Obama bandwagon right now.
