I concur with the general consensus online and in the press - Obama won this outright.
Obama started the night at a major handicap - being knee-capped by the first 45 minutes.
But his direct, adult, passionate and intelligent answers were perfect.

Where Hillary seemed canned, perked on prozac, and over-zealous on advertising her website, Obama immediately got to the heart of each issue and laid out his plans, his record of fighting for progressive issues, and a realistic critique of the Washington Status Quo.

AMAZING performance tonight!!!

4. While his delivery was off, I think he did a pretty good job. So did Hillary
Her delivery was EXCELLENT, which makes her look like she won, even though Obama did a better job considering what he was up against.

5. I don't know about Hillary on prozac...but her tendency to look up in the clouds is wierd as shit
Edited on Wed Apr-16-08 09:56 PM by earthlover
when she talks. I wasn't thinking prozac. But she did look drugged at times. Can't tell which prescription, though....or maybe non-prescription, who knows? She was drug free....as far as I know....

Seriously, she does have this tendency to look up instead of into the camera. It makes her look wierd. And she has this smug attitude about her, like she knows everything and is annoyed about everyone else's ignorance and has to smile in her condescending smile....

13. Kos, WaPo, Huff Post, MCNBC, ABC's own polling data
what you want more?

Hillary lost and ABC looked stupid for asking bullshit questions when there are real fucking issues on people's minds.

14. I don't see any indication that she lost at the websites you cited. KOS and Huffpo are all upset
that the MSM was, well, the MSM. Nothing to indicate Sen. Clinton lost the debate.

Kos:
The elites

HuffPo:
The Gotcha Debate

I can't find a link to ABC "polling data" though. I've been to their website a couple of times in the last few minutes and haven't seen the polling data to which you refer.

9. Gibson must have racist motivations
Charles Gibson's obvious dislike of Obama must have been motivated by racism. There is no other reasonable explanation. Gibson has no prior track record of being strongly pro-Clinton. In addition, Gibson was reasonable as a moderator in the Kerry-Bush (two white guys) debates in 2004. Now, in 2008, when Gibson moderates a debate involving the first black Democrat who has a serious chance of becoming president, Gibson goes after Obama for the entire debate. Gibson must have some hidden, anti-black feelings that motivated his horrendous treatment of Obama tonight.

The Clinton campaign car bomb will try to bring up the Ayers issue and it will explode in their faces.
