Greens nominate Cobb
Just to let everyone know, we nominated David Cobb and did not endorse Nader today. Cobb won on the second ballot.

6. none
Edited on Sat Jun-26-04 07:07 PM by GreenInNC
The way the vote was set up was that "no candidate" was an option during our nomination process. If "no candidate" had won the nomination process then we would have gone to an endorsement vote. Since Cobb won the nomination, no endorsement vote was taken.

8. Would it have killed the Greens to endorse Kerry?
Or do you really want Bush to win too?

A vote for Nader is a vote for Bush. Guess what. A vote for Cobb is too. Just as much.

10. I like Cobb

Because of the Electoral College you can safely vote for a 3rd party without helping * if your state isn't a swing state. That is Cobb's stratagy, as well as trying the pull the dems back to the left by getting liberal votes in local elections (A race in California, I can't rember which, was between a Dem and a Green).

11. Green EV strategy
Does that mean Cobb and the Greens will stay off the ballot in the purple states?

If they did that, I would respect them enough to vote for them here in MD, which is solid blue.

in my life, I'd consider voting Green (not saying I will, but I'm REALLY impressed). Good move, Greens, in nominating Cobb.
