Poll question: What should Hillary get as a consolation prize?
Generally, the person who doesn't win the game show gets some kind of "parting gift", so which should Hillary get.

Even though she has like 10 home states, New York wont be one of them long.

I can't wait to donate to the dem candidate that challenges her for the seat.

NYC is only a short train ride from here. I can see a lot of long weekends in my future.

BUT there is a silver lining for you New Yorkers..

She's not gonna be loving it back being 1 of 100..especially now that she knows how most of her fellow senators think of her:evilgrin:

There are probably operatives, right now, preparing to convince patterson to spend more time with his family...so she can be Gov. Hillary..and then in '12 she can try again

I think she will quit the senate to run for governor as soon as they get enough slime on Patterson, to get him to quit

Edited on Sun Apr-27-08 09:56 PM by SoCalDem
This after EIGHT years as First Lady..and 7 years as a senator?

One would think that at least 1/2 would have jumped at the chance to support her..and of the 200, MOST were NOT senators or congresspeople..they were "DLC/Party people"

63. Heh, I guess they're the people who know her best.
A little off topic, but kind of the same: I was really disappointed in the way the Democrats in the senate didn't support Bill Clinton during impeachment more than they did. They kept saying he was "despicable." I think I agree with them now!

that's an early start to the day! i had to LOL, though, when you said "get them ready for the day." I envisioned getting up to referee the bathroom line, helping them dress, make them sammiches for school, and walking them to the bus stop.

our cats all found us, and our dog is from a rescue group. they are wonderful companions. thank you for what you are doing.

16. a decent committee chairmanship
so she can bring a lot of money to her home state, because that is the first duty of any U.S. Senator, no matter what party, bringing home the bacon.

And Bill honestly should run for some sort of office, it's a shame he can't come back South at this time, though the term limits they passed in Arkansas, I don't think it would apply to him, so he could get another two terms as Governor of the state, come back as a sort of elder statesmen.

He'd make a great U.N. Secretary General, and it's about time an American had the job.
