I'm sick-to-death of Clinton-Obama
This is the first time I've allowed myself to make an impassioned, rather than purely rational post. Guess it's the only way to be sure what's helpful.

I'm sick that we're stuck with 2 candidates that will both actually have to struggle to defeat McCain.

I'm sick that we've allowed the Repub-controlled media to choose our options for us.

I'm sick of our remaining candidates' -- I admit, esp. Clinton's -- and their supporters -- tearing each other apart over f---ing trivia.

Rev. Wright and all the other cr-p -- GET SERIOUS!!! At this point -- I wanted to say if either of them had any actual integrity, but I don't want to be that absolutist about it -- but really, they should refuse to discuss any issues but those that actually matter: global warming, election integrity, media reform, education, getting out of Iraq, re-regulating the financial and other industries that have exacerbated our collective economic banktruptcy, among other things, universal healthcare, etc.

But neither of them are taking those issues on.

On the important issues, Clinton and Obama don't seem to me to be that far apart; and more importantly, they both take $$$ from a lot of the same corps., although my impression is that Obama does seem to have more popular monetary support.

Is that because he's really that different, or just because he's more appealing? I'm not sure, and I apologize for my ignorance; I support Obama primarily because the main substantive difference I can find between them is that he did NOT vote to authorize the Iraq war -- I really just can't forgive anyone for that, because it was an obviously to me a disaster-waiting-to-happen, and it should certainly have been even more obvious to anyone closer to the action and not in total dereliction of duty.

In the past, I've supported the Clintons, and I'd still by far prefer Hillary to McCain, but right now, I wish she'd crawl into a hole before our chances and the Clintons' legacy are damaged any further.

I am a woman lawyer, I've suffered discrimination throughout my life in more than one area, and I gave money to Hillary before I gave to Obama. Pls don't flame me for not appreciating her accomplishments or what she's up against. THIS IS PRIMARILY A COMPLAINT AGAINST THE MEDIA, A CRY OF FRUSTATION THAT WE'VE SOMEHOW ALLOWED THIS TO HAPPEN, AND A COMPLAINT AGAINST THOSE AMONG US WHO ACTUALLY FACILITATE IT by continuing to dig up/exclaim about TRIVIA.

Other than who voted for the war, I just don't see that big a difference betw. the two; I will vote for whoever wins; and I implore anyone who continues to work to tear down either candidate on the basis of anything that cost us less than 4,000 lives and whatever trillions of dollars, to F---ING CEASE AND DESIST from cutting off not just your own but all our noses to spite your own personal face.

2. Yes, we're stuck with the two weakest of the initial slate of candidates,
simply because the corpmedia thought that making the race an episode of Big Brother--bossy white chick vs. cool black dude--would be good for ratings.

It's sad, but what can you do?

7. Yeah, to hear them rant and scream, you'd think the race was between
Eugene Debs and Charlie Manson.
