Will Operation Chaos be used as another excuse to Freeze the Superdelegates?
Edited on Wed May-07-08 08:45 AM by Skwmom
Obama was the real winner of Indiana. But for the Republican spoiler votes supporting Clinton, Obama would have won Indiana. I am sick of hearing the "Superdelegates were going to move to Obama, but are now frozen." If they use Operation Chaos as an excuse, I think many will hold them as accountable as the Clintons for whatever happens in November.

By the superdelegates sitting on the sidelines and letting Clinton and their hacks attack Obama they are diminishing his ability to win in the general election. Do they think that an Obama loss in November would just be blamed on the Clintons and the Democratic Party would get a free pass? If so, they are WRONG.

The one idiot on CNN (the morning talk guy) said Obama can't even win in his backyard (referring to Indiana). Obama WON Indiana b/c anyone with an ounce of sense would not consider the Limbaugh voters valid votes.

Enough is enough. The superdelegates need to decide.

2. May only delay it by a couple weeks at most,
the superdelegates (sensible ones) know the score, and how given the margin of victory it basically can be attributed to operation chaos alone, which is certainly not representative of the will of the democratic electorate, and I think will have little bearing on their decision. This is a delegates race, not a "number of states won" contest, which would be the only justification for calling last night a "tie", and if they want to play that game, they only need to check the scoreboard to see that obama was won twice as many contests, and can't be caught in this area(or pretty much any other area). Some who may come out today may wait to see what hillary says first at noon, but I think this will last another 2 weeks tops

5. I think some our underestimating the Clintons just like they did with Bush and gang in 2000.
I've reach the point where I am just disgusted with the superdelegates.

3. I like the idea, but from here on, it probably doesn't matter.
She's going to win West Virginia, Kentucky and Puerto Rico by more than the Limbaugh points.

She's going to lose the other contests, and the Limbaughs won't be a factor.

Bottom line is they're an annoyance, but won't likely decide any more races. I think they decided Indiana and Texas (the primary side), and probably others.

her attack Obama, the more the anger and frustration will grow. In the future, when the Republicans court Democratic voters they might remember the actions (or lack thereof) of the Democratic establishment in this race and be much more open to voting for a Republican.
