Here is an easy and cheap way for Obama to cut Hillary's lead in WV
Run a series of ads calling Rich Rodriguez a traitor. End it by saying: "I will never give up on West Virginia - unlike some people."

Immediate 15 point bounce.

If he can somehow incorporate Owen Schmitt into the ad - 20 points.

I'm telling you, I should be on the payroll.

1. WV doesn't matter, the primary is over
Obama has more important things to deal with now.

2. I think he's conceding WV to Clinton
He wants to get trounced there hard to increase her fundraising so she can pay off some of her debts before she drops out.

3. This is a good idea.
If there's anything WVs can rally around, it's hate for Rodriguez.

However, there might be some Michigan blowback.

4. It's more important to be right on this issue
Rodriguez is evil incarnate. We must never lost sight of this.

7. Has that lawsuit been settled yet?
I hope they stick it to RR for treble damages. Something needs to be done to rein in these coaches who think contracts are not worth the paper on which they are printed.

8. Rich Rodriguez' birth was the result of a demon mating with a billygoat

He then attended North Marion High School. At North Marion, he was involved in an ugly incident at the senior prom where he drank too much Boone's Farm and caused telekinetic fire to engulf fourteen classmates.

He was a walk-on football player at WVU. He later earned a scholarship. At WVU, he had a key interception in a historic 1984 victory over Penn State and captured Jeff Hostetler's soul which he keeps it in a Commenrative Coke bottle on his desk.

He had a stellar coaching career in the small divisions of the NCAA and is widely credited with mastering the spread option offense and for drinking the blood of virgin cheerleaders.

He returned to WVU in 2000 as Head Football Coach. At his introductory press conference, he cut off the AD's head with a scythe and made love to it (the head, not the scythe). He amassed a 60-26 record at WVU, led the Mountaineers to two BCS bowl appearances, and constructed a dugeon in his Preston County home where he systematically disembowled undergrads.

In 2007, prior to the Pitt game which should have been a stepping stone to a national title game, Rodriguez secretly met with Michigan officials in preparation of taking their head coaching job. This was clearly done on his father's bidding and is part of a plan to unleash 300 years of darkness on Earth.

He left the squad prior to the Fiesta Bowl. Which is all well and good, because he is widely known as "El Diablo" in the southwest.

6. Trust me. As a Pitt grad, all he has to do is have an event at the WVU coliseum and say....

"Shitt on Pitt!"

Better yet... if he wears one of the T-shirts saying it, he'll sweep the state.

I'm a Pitt grad... and here's my favorite WVU joke:

"At halftime of the annual 'backyard Brawl' a Pitt fan and a WVU fan are at adjacent urinals answering nature's call. When they finish, the WVU fans heads for the sink to wash his hands and the Pitt fan begins heading for the exit. The WVU fan, noticing this, clears his throat loudly and proclaims, 'at WVU, we learned to wash our hands after taking a piss.' The Pitt fan stops, turns around, and says, 'at Pitt, we learned not to piss on our hands.'"
