Yesterday I heard Bill Moyers quote a guy who
says that you can have wealth or democracy..
but not both.

He surly meant concentrated wealth at the top not distributed wealth to the middle class.
The way to lose democracy is to lose your middle class. In every society it is when the
wealth of the nation is accessible to the middle class, that democracy thrives.

Democracy falters when the middle class loses its economic clout.
This is what we are experiencing in our country at this time.

January 20th, 2009 we turn the page on maybe the worse period in our great country's history.
We begin the slow process to restore our competence at home and our dignity abroad.
We are America again.

We and our new president have great, great challenges ahead. But we can do this "block by block,

DLC types have to be outnumbered by real DEMS adhering to real DEM principals. Support your local congressional contender for all you're worth. Obama needs a posse to fix what cheney broke with the help of too many DLC types.
