My electrician, a forty something white male democrat, just told me he is
100% behind Obama.

He said it was the first time since Jimmy Carter that he wouldn't have to hold his nose and vote for a democrat.

I know it's anecdotal, but this guy is all for Barack.

I brought up Gore and he said, at the time he was too much like Clinton.

1. WC
It's only the "hard working whites" who won't vote for Obama. You need an electrician who works hard ;-)

2. I think this is a meaningful endorsement, and indicates Obama's appeal to working folks of all races

4. The misjudgement of Al Gore in 2000
is, I think, one of the biggest political tragedies of our time. It shows how much perception can cloud reality.

5. It was a great political hit job.
I'll never forget all the talking heads saying that Bu$h won that first debate. Bastards.

7. Even my brother...
a red neck 'real' cowboy and small businessman is voting for Obama. He is the electorate that gives GOP wet dreams.....they are in deep trouble!
