Why I think the Obama win was good for America!!
OK - I'm a reluctant Obama supporter. I admit it. Still, there are some very good things that might permanently change in the US, just because he won the nomination, let alone the Presidency.

The main thing is, his was a grass-roots campaign. He had a huge war chest from small internet donors. He didn't abide by the conventional wisdom that says only certain states need to be bothered with at all. I think his win might change the game from totally favoring the big-donors, to giving the little-guy a chance to be heard. Always a good thing.
