4. I was wondering about that also. Does it just sit there? I know a few people who donated
while filing their taxes and now they're pissed because they think all the money is going to McCain.

with 82 million -- like put it into the social security fund.

8. I don't think they are actually donating three dollars
aren't they just saying yes, 3 bucks can be taken from another source and put into that fund?

5. i'm not sure, i checked the fec website and that had info on the "3$ check off"
but i couldn't find out anything about what happens if a nominee declines.
