John McCain should answer this question.
Answer this question Johnny.

Question: Why do you think it was acceptable back on December 19, 1998 to have cast a ' YES ' vote for Bill Clinton's impeachment based on the charges levied against him and why do you think its NOT acceptable to vote YES for the Articles of Impeachment for President George W. Bush introduced in Congress June 9th, 2008 by Dennis Kucinich?

Were ANY or ALL laws broken in one case and not the other, if so, which one DID NOT break the law in YOUR opinion and why?

article:

Clinton Impeachment vs Bush Impeachment

This is not an opinion article. This is the summaries of the Articles of Impeachment against former President Clinton and current President Bush and are in the Congressional Record for readers to read and compare and draw their own conclusions. I chose links to details that I believed were the most readable. You can also go directly to the Congressional Record. Draw your own conclusions. And feel free to cut and email the list to anyone you wish. If you have a Federal legislator who voted to impeach Clinton, please send the list to that person and ask him to do the same for the sitting president.

Draw your own conclusions. Pass the list on.

3. if you ask a republican why Clinton was impeached...........
...they will always tell you it was not about the sex, it was because he lied to a Grand Jury. They say that's a very serious issue.

ok, so if lying to a Grand Jury is so serious, why did all of them think it was no big deal when Libby lied to a GJ? And he didn't just lie once, he lied over and over again!!!

4. These are valid questions that our reliable media hand-puppets should be asking John McCain since he
has come out and said a few days ago when asked the ' impeachment ' question, he replied by saying " First of all, I do not agree with quote, articles of impeachment, and I can assure the majorities of both parties in both houses would not agree either. "

McCain should make it crystal clear as to why in 1999, he voted for the impeachment of President Clinton. At the time, McCain stressed that a president must be held “accountable to the rule of law“

Presidents are not ordinary citizens. They are extraordinary, in that they are vested with so much more authority and power than the rest of us. We have a right; indeed, we have an obligation, to hold them strictly accountable to the rule of law.

It is self-evident to us all, I hope, that we cannot overlook, dismiss or diminish the obstruction of justice by the very person we charge with taking care that the laws are faithfully executed. It is self-evident to me.

Then why is it NOT " self-evident " to McCain now with charges of law breaking and obstruction of justice against Bush?

He should be asked these questions to find out where he stands on these issues and why?.......it would be telling as to what kind of justice we can expect from a McCain presidency.

5. I agree.....I think we do have a right to know how he would answer those questions..........
I don't believe McCain even has a chance of being President but we still have a right to know how he would answer those questions.

In my earlier post, I compared Clinton lying to a GJ and Libby doing the same thing. With Clinton, it was seen as a very serious issue but with Libby republicans acted like it was almost not even a crime! And as far as I can tell, the only difference between the 2 was the fact that Clinton was a democrat and Libby was a republican!

I'd still like to hear how Mr DoubleTalk tries to talk his way out of that one......
