Poll question: The Dole 1996 Over Under-Will McCain get more or less EV then Dole?
Edited on Mon Jul-14-08 08:29 AM by davidpdx

Clinton 379
Dole 159

The Dole over under is 159, Will John McCain get more or less electoral votes then Bob Dole did in 1996?

so it's gotta be more or less!!

8. Yeah TO
I think the chance of him tying is slim. But if you want to take the "tie option" then you can do so. Maybe I'll have to buy you a steak if it happens.

9. I was referring to the fact that one choice is "more or less"
Edited on Mon Jul-14-08 08:42 AM by TexasObserver
So that means that option is almost certainly the right one.

I know it won't be a tie, but that's the only answer that wouldn't fall in your "more or less" option.

You need to rewrite the question while you still have time, so that the first option does not apply to both "more or less" answers.

2. By the way, feel free to make your vote known in the thread
and I'll bookmark it and bump it after the election. Then those who were right can brag about it.

3. I fear it will be quite close
Edited on Mon Jul-14-08 08:24 AM by cyclezealot
Even too many swing states, the polls show its close. Like Wisc, Mich, Ohio and Oregon. . And Obama is no incumbent president. And will McCain be a klutzier candidate than Dole. Not sure.

7. Ah, you gave me another idea
When will McCain fall off a stage pool (bet).

There are so many possible ways of making fun of him.
