The secret hidden within John McCain's campaign schedule

You can tell a lot about any political campaign by
how it invests its most precious resource: the 1,440
minutes in each candidate's day.

Take a look at this edited current schedule for John
McCain's campaign. And see if you notice anything
particularly revealing:

Thursday, July 17, 2008, Missouri and Michigan

-snip-

...Saturday, July 19, 2008, New York

-snip-

6:00pm Finance Event; 7:45pm Finance Event

9:30pm Return NYC, Overnight.

Yes, good point, he does seem to be hopping all over.
The campaign days sure don't start at dawn with
morning shows. And there are plenty of media interviews,
as always. They're free. And he can speak to 200 at
a townhall but reach hundreds of thousands through
media interviews afterwards.

Give you a hint. Follow the money.

Just 3 1/2 months out from the presidential election,
McCain's national campaign schedule is being driven by
the quest for money, not by the hunt for votes.

1. He can't raise the money that Obama can
Therefore, he can't spend the money like Obama can.

Sure nice to have that shoe on the other foot for a change

2. Money gets you advertising, which gets you votes
I don't think there's anything special or unique here.

3. Does McCain still qualify for the "grandfather loophole"
that allows him to keep any campaign contributions?
