David Gregory trying his best to find something Markos Moulitsas disagrees with Obama on
He's interviewing Markos right now, and sadly for the Repubs., Markos is saying "the left" is behind Obama, Obama's not going to LOSE them, and Obama's NOT "moving to the center" like the media is trying to portray. He DID say he wasn't happy with the FISA vote, but that there are surprisingly FEW issues "the left" disagree with Obama on. Gregory kept pressing him, though, asking if Obama could win without "the left," and Markos said he's not GOING to lost the left. "But what about and ?" Sadly for Gregory, he didn't get the "rift in the party" that he was looking for.

3. Gregory looked ticked.. Wanted Kos to say the left are mad at Obama..
Gregory was looking for ANYTHING..

But Kos said that while we may not agree with Obama on everything, he's our candidate and we support him.

Poor David...

4. I just googled "kos cia"
Because I remember when that made its run on DU some time ago. Man, there's some people (or one adamant guy) that really, really hate the guy.

The anti-Kos youtube account is truthout(somestringofnumbers). Is it a truthout person?

Off topic yes, but watching him made me think of it.

6. There are a lot of Democrats

. . . who don't like Kos for various reasons, among them that he's a self-serving blowhard. However, glad to see he didn't rise to David Gregory's bait.

10. every human being
who ever lived is "self serving"

Blowhard would describe just about anyone who writes with the intent to convince a large audience.

Not exactly persuasive criticism of anyone.

21. Um, No

If self-serving and blowhard described everyone, the terms wouldn't (presumably) exist. We may have differing standards.

The point KOS made was that DEMOCRATS ARE SUPPORTING OUR CANDIDATE.

Why make it a "HATE Kos" thread?

13. Race to the WH is complete trash. I unfortunately watched the entire episode
it was like a train wreck. That "Today" show producer aka McSame shillbot is beyond disgusting. That other conservative woman is/has always been a disaster. Gregory himself is a clown. I felt bad for Maddow having to be involved in that circus of stupidity.

18. I turned it on a couple of times, I felt bad for Rachel's "troubled" expressions when
someone was spouting BS. And wtf was up with that Republican woman saying "Let's face it, if Barack Obama received any MORE positive press at this point, he would be Rachel Maddow."

22. The woman was starting to go off about how the press should give "equal time" to McCain
during the trip, and Rachel said "Do you really think that people are going to find Mccain's economic speeches as newsworthy as Obama's overseas trip?" and then she started to argue the fair coverage vs equal coverage thing, and the woman said that line..(she tried to play it off like a joke, maybe referencing the recent NYT article, but come on, way to try and change the subject). Rachel laughed to be polite, and the segment conveniently ended when Rachel started to further make her point. I noticed that the segments often conveniently "end" when Rachel is starting to make her point. Grrr.

29. That republican woman was a real mess
almost threatening some sort of riots across America is the media didn't give EQUAL time to McSame's pathetic economic speeches. He little dig at Maddow was just stupid. She was trying to be funny but it didn't even make much sense.

14. I loved all the hypotheticals...
Along with "what if the left doesn't vote for Obama," he asked, "What if Obama went to Iraq and said we were going to leave but then got word from General David Petraeus (as opposed to General Sam Petraeus) that we had to stay? What would he do?"

I was waiting for, "What if he's actually a martian and the blogosphere launches an anti-martian protest and his feet turn into wheels?"

and Mike Barnicle was on this morning asking, "Is Obama's trip overseas part of his 'shift to the middle' and will that anger his base?" :eyes:

Just a theory. I know from the ny times she's getting her own tv show. I'm just hoping she can steal gregory's time slot.

39. AAR and Maddow need to nix Race for the Whitehouse. Gregory
has asked his six questions in at least 25 different ways and now he is starting to repeat himself. We understand that Barack Obama is a scary black man and that it gets worse when you thrown in his Mao Mao wifey but come on--Maddow is doing the Democratic party a big disservice by allowing this guy to throw his junk at Obama every day. I rad that Brit Hume is stepping down from his post at FOx--now perhaps Gregory can jump to FOX, collect a salary and feel justified in berating Obama.
