Mc Cain is either suffering from pre-senile dementia, or a pathological liar. Can there be another
choice?

I mean, look at the Urban League vs. Memphis quotes on MLK, just for starters.

what other possible explanation can there be?

I only care about this from the standpoint of how best this can be used in the campaign: to hit him hard on the lies, or to empathically bemoan the clear diagnosis of his not being able to remember anything on a short term basis.

either way, it seems playing up these aspect of his narcisstically flawed persona can be very helpful in portraying his true character, or lack thereof

DEMS....when are you going to start using clips like the above?

and you're right about that, but I lean toward the liar part. he's in the incipient stages, though, if at all

my dad had it, and after we found out what Alzheimer's was, it was easy to back-diagnose when he first started exhibiting symptoms

wonder if he paces a lot, in his tiny, $520 shoes

7. This is like those "Bush: Idiot or Sociopath?" threads
I still maintain it is possible to be both, especially in the case of angry leprechaun McCain.

9. I lean toward the sociopath part, because he'd have a hard time functioning
as a PSDer. As I said, he could be in the early stages, but under this kind of pressure, it would be pretty hard to cover up

that said, he only does ONE event a day, and almost NEVER does anything on weekends

did you see that Rolling Stone story that was talked about here the other day? he's resting all the time, as well as talking to reporters hardly at all.

angry AND lying at the same time:

there's a better clip than this, which shows his quote from the Times, in which he denies he had a conversation with Kerry

how does he get away with this EVERY time? just imagine if they had Obama on tape doing this....you'd never hear the end of it

start about 4:30 in, if you're tired of the Paris crap

Lala!

http://rawstory.com/news/2008/Stewart_McCain_wins_Dick_Move_of_0801.html

check the comments, like this one:

I don't get McCain's need to go negative all the time and play the race card and call Obama uppity in code.

Why doesn't he tout all of the progress we've made since the republicans have held the presidency and the entire congress for the first time in over 50 years?

He should be pointing out how Bush the Uniter has united the country in fully embracing the republic philosophy and do just as Clinton did and list all of the great things they've achieved both internationally domestically and fiscally. How about a long description of how they have improved public education with NCLB? How about something on how much they have reduced the federal deficit and gotten the country back on track with free trade and how well that has worked? How about mentioning that there have been virtually zero scandals during the Bush years and how Bush has restored honor and dignity to the oval office just as he said he would?

How about the important work they have done and need to continue working on in the field of illegal immigration and toxic imports from China? How about how eliminating corporate regulations has been such a spectacular success all around for everyone especially the banks and energy companies? Surely now that they have proven the democrats wrong and the republics right about just about everything they can now demonstrate how they have been correct all along, what a fabulous opportunity to rub the democrats face in the apple sauce of their total vindication both in the eyes of the public and the entire world! It seems like such a great opportunity that McGramps of Wrath is just throwing away. And who better to tout the efficacy of torture than McCrap head?

McCain vs. McCain, just for starters?

did you see the Russert one, in which he nails McCcain on his being strongly against involvement in foreign entanglements, but only when it involves Clinton?
