Nader Still Unsure of Ballot Spot in Many States
Nader Still Unsure of Ballot Spot in Many States

By Jonathan Finer and Brian Faler
Washington Post Staff Writers
Tuesday, August 24, 2004; Page A09

Ten weeks before the 2004 presidential election, Ralph Nader is mired in a painstaking struggle to get his name on the ballot in a host of states he contested four years ago.

Yesterday, Michigan election officials deadlocked over whether to accept Nader's petition to be on the ballot as an independent candidate, which Democrats argued was riddled with fraud, sending the issue to an appeals court.

1. 98,000 votes in Florida in a last election?
Gore would be president today for sure if it wasn't for Nader.
:(
How many people would be alive today if Gore was president, and not Bush?

2. So much blood on his hands
he can't wash it all off. Only Bush/Cheney is guiltier, IMO.

Yet we know the effer will deny his complicity till the day he dies (and he's just the type to survive to a ripe old age).

He certainly looks good for his age.
I bet he would make it to a 100.
Isn't it funny how one man can change history of the world and affect lives of so many people?

4. Addresses question many have asked -- no certainty yet re. Nader...
ballot spots. Apparently, Nader will not be on the ballot in Arizona, California, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Texas, and will probably be on Florida's ballot. Other states seem yet to be decided, or in dispute.

5. It is time to start a petition drive to ask Nadar to step down
He is nothing more then a bad joke, a disgrace as a politician, and the best thing the Ratpublican party has going.

I am sure the democratic party can put together 10 or 20 million signatures asking this guy to stop skewing the election for the Ratpublicans

7. If that meeting with the Congressional Black Caucus didn't dissaude him...
I'm not sure anything will. He, IMO, is a sick, sick man, in mind and body, and hell bent on destroying this country in order to "save" it. He is delusional in his egomania; he is contemptible in his misleading of the naive and easily led; he is beyond contempt in his cynical collusion with Karl Rove.

6. Minnesota and Wisconsin deadlines upcoming in Sept
I suspect Nader makes it onto ballot in both states.
