Anyone Notice How The Media Has Suddenly Stopped Talking Polls?
I mean, for a long time, it was horse race city.

Last poll I saw mentioned on CNN (yes, I know) was the one where Wolf Blitzer looked like someone had taken a dump in the punchbowl, as he was forced to say "Ohio: Kerry 52%, Bush 42%.." Of course, they tempered that with the "likely voters" nonsense (because of course, most of us dems aren't really that motivated this year) but it was clear he was somewhere he didn't want to be.

So, now there are no numbers, just talking heads, with a 24-7 Swiftboatapalooza, and the endless talk of how this is "hurting" Kerry. I don't think it is, and I think they're trying to make it so by repeating it often enough. But I've come across a few folks who keep blathering "The ads are really hurting Kerry".. Without hard and fast poll numbers in the press to debunk that, well, it's really starting to piss me off.

4. Hmm. Maybe Ohio is where the ads are doing the "damage"

I'm sure they're running em into the ground there.

Course CNN had Kerry up in Ohio by a substantial amount.

3. the only polls I've been hearing are the ones
that have Kerry losing ground with Vets because of all the crap the SBV's have been airing.

Other polls... nada... nil... nothing for three days now.
