Hillary does not have the slighest chance of getting the VP nod
I will guarantee you that she does not become VP. Bill can't even bring himself to say he supports Obama, and between the 2 of them they have enough baggage to keep O'Hare busy for a month. Obama and his staff aren't stupid, they know that if Hillary was VP, all of the tonnage of dirt on her would come out instantaneously.

Hillary just has no shot of being VP, and she hasn't since she said McCain was more qualified to be president along with the other ridiculous things she said. I think some of you forget just how absurd she was becoming in the last couple months of the primaries. She was a complete punchline.

Hillary as VP = NOT GONNA HAPPEN!

2. The Clintons are in shock
Imagine the two of them planning, since probably just after he got out of office, for her to be prez in the next 4 to 8 years, and then watching inevitability turn to defeat.

When the prize is the U.S. presidency with all it's trappings (that I'm sure she misses) and it all slips away, it has got to be gut wrenching.

You mean when she was winning? If you recall, she was outperforming Obama.

That was the msm feeding you bullshit. She won the primaries everyone expected her to win and that's it. She picked up nothing. The media just told you she was doing AWESOME! smoke and mirrors is all it was.

5. She was never winning.... she always had fewer delegates. She only outperformed him late because
Edited on Wed Aug-06-08 10:50 PM by Motown_Johnny
she wrote her campaign a ten million dollar check. If she did not self finance she would never have been anything but a footnote. (even with a former president trying out new lines at rallies so she could just use the ones that went over well)

18 million votes.... 21 million in debt..... I know how you Clinton supporters hate math, But clearly this is nothing to be proud of.

12. What a load of crap...
This outperforming claim.

If voters in every state were homogeneous, you might have a valid claim.

Picking up Kentucky and W.Virginia do not mean the country was warming up to her.

In fact, looking at his numbers in California over time, he gained favor over her during the primary.

Pick the data that makes your argument, and you can make an argument for any fallacy.

Sorry.

6. I always think there is a slight chane that any Dem could get the nom.
I keep wondering if the next call to my phone isn't the campaign tapping me for the nod. Alas, my chances are probably somewhere close to Clinton's chances so I won't be holding my breath for either one.

I like my Gov. Sebelius.

7. In my wildest nightmare...Hillary gets the VP nod....Bill move back into the White House...
Obama then let's the corporate duo stab us in the back some more.

Bill's Telecommunications Act consolidated the ownership of our media. Thanks to Bill, our news is brought to us buy war profiteers. His Iraqi liberation Act called of the oust of Saddam...and let's not forget NAFTA and Rendition.

Bill Clinton broke my heart.

14. Hillary has no shot of being VP ...
... unless she runs with McCain, and even then, they'd lose.
