Something BIG was expected from Kerry this morning. WHERE is it?

Ok. Last night there was this post here in GDC04. Basically there was a rumor floated by Tom Oliphant on Scarborough, that something big was going to be coming from the Kerry camp on this SmearLiar strategy. Some people were projecting that it would be during Kerry's speech today in NY. I have read the press release and the article relating to Kerry's comments this morning. However, this is not what I had hoped for. Yes he is framing the issues and calling attention to the Kerry/Edwards plan for America, and slamming the horrible record of the past 4 years of * and his band of criminal republiCONS. This will get little if any press at all. The only ones that will read what was said are in "the choir" already. I don't see how this will help.

If this is the BIGGIE that was supposed to come down. I must admit I am extremely disappointed.

It's probably the start of something that will go on for a number of days. A counterattack putting Bush increasingly on the defensive heading into the RNC would be great.
