Catty Post deleted. (I didn't know she had suffered a stroke)

Replaced with a public service announcement for the ladies: Do not smoke if you are on birth control pills. Not even a few cigs here and there. The surprisingly high (and under-publicized) incidence of brain hemorrhages in women 25-50 is largely attributable to that combination.

6. yup, sometimes that ages a person. My Nana had a major stroke when she was
about 55, it took an entire year of living at the rehab for her to recover.

4. Well she did suffer a stroke....
Edited on Sun Aug-10-08 03:04 PM by GloriaSmith
but to continue the catty spirit of the thread, she probably wouldn't have had the stroke had she taken her blood pressure meds like her doctor suggested. Her reason for not taking it you ask? Because she thought she was too young to need them. Now how's THAT for irony?

7. She has had a lot of plastic surgery for someone
only 54. But, she strikes me as the type of woman stuck in a time warp. She appears to have never moved past 30 in her mind and seems not to be able to accept her age. Also, and this is catty as well, I think that her husband has a hang up about women getting older. Maybe she feels she has to try to look 20 years younger. Sadly, women don't understand that when they go down that road they don't really look younger, just foolish.
