Let's no Forget the History Importance of this Years Democratic Convention

The corporate media is so anti-Obama right now, that it will probably be lost or ignored that Obama will be doing something no one else has done before him. He's making history as the first African-American to lead a major political party. And it's coming on the anniversary of a man who died for that...and countless others who have died for it as well. This is something we should all be proud of as a turning-of-the-page for our country. We're also setting an example for other countries as well. The Rethugs and their talking heads in the media will try to play this down and take the historical importance away from the event. Well maybe not on MSNBC since I think Matthews and Olbermann are supposed to be covering the Dem convention. But the point remains.
