FRAME: Jerome R. Corsi (Obama Nation book author) and his opinion on John McCain

In the New York Times today, there is an article on the book "Obama Nation" by Jerome R. Corsi, who wrote a similar lie-filled screed on John Kerry "Unfit For Command" in 2004.

It's bound to be a new source for the right-wing echo chamber to puppet constantly as the election nears.

What's hilarious about Jerome R. Corsi is his assessment on John McCain, which gets a molecular mention in the New York Times article.

If we are to believe Corsi, then McCain:

• is tied to George Soros
  
• is tied to Teresa Heinz Kerry
  
• is tied to Russian billionaire with Mafia ties
  
• is tied to corrupt lobbyists
  
• is not a war hero
  
• would ruin the Republican Party if he was the nominee

Being a contributor to the Repig Knuckledragger Manual "WorldNetDaily", he has some choice words for McCain:

Sen. John McCain has asserted his opposition to Russian President Vladimir Putin a number of times, going so far as joining with Sen. Joseph Lieberman, D-Conn., in 2005 to introduce legislation calling on President Bush to suspend Russia's membership in the Group of Eight.

That opposition, however, is being called into question by links that have been established in various reports between McCain's campaign manager, Rick Davis, and Ukrainian billionaire Oleg Deripaska, who is suspected of having ties to organized Russian crime.

Davis even arranged for McCain to meet Deripaska at a time when Davis' lobbying firm was working under contract with Ukrainian political leaders supported by Putin's regime in Moscow.

Moreover, Davis' decision to retain his position in his lobbying firm while serving as McCain's 2008 presidential campaign manager raises questions about McCain's sincerity in his self-avowed campaign to eliminate influence peddling from U.S. politics.

CORSI: Maybe while he's there he can tell the UN what he's going to do about the sexual crimes committed by "priests" in his "Church" during his tenure. Or, maybe that's the connection -- boy buggering in both Islam and Catholicism is okay with the Pope as long as it isn't reported by the liberal press.

CORSI: So this is what the last days of the Catholic Church are going to look like. Buggering boys undermines the moral base and the laywers rip the gold off the Vatican altars. We may get one more Pope, when this senile one dies, but that's probably about it.
