If Obama announces now, he will get a small boost from that announcement. We all know both McCain and Obama have most likely made their decisions. It's a waiting game now to see who goes first.
If Obama announces now, a week and half before the convention, he will trump the news cycle with his choice, forcing McCain to do the same, maybe even before they've gotten their messaging down right. And if it's LIEberman, I hope he's in Georgia as part of McCain's delegation when McCain's forced to announce. McCain won't have him by his side like he always does. It's really sad when McCain needs LIEberman to look strong.
McCain's onslaught of negative ads, boosted by the MSM coverage has backfired and Obama is back to the difference now that he had when he was on his World Tour. Now, he has a shot at pushing the numbers even wider, making McCain's life more miserable than it is (or than he can imagine it).
I hope that we hear in the next 3 days who Obama's V.P. is going to be.
