Biden being predicted on KO right now...
Biden is the best choice! I've felt it from the start. I hope Obama makes that choice.

1. I agree. He'd be a great campaigner and won't take crap from the repubs.

6. I thought it was strange that neither he nor Chris
mentioned Wes Clark. It's his slogan they're using Wednesday night! Or maybe they don't even know that.

10. There is a thread around here somewhere that Rachel Maddow interviewed
Clark and asked him if he was going to be at the convention next week, giggle, giggle.
And Clark said he was going to be out of the country.

So that's probably why.

7. Biden will trump all foreign policy criticism... He doesn't take any shit, either!
He's great with the one liners and whenever he starts talking about foreign policy I think to myself how careful and learned the man seems. He is someone who gets the big picture who can truly help Obama make the best decisions possible.

but is Wes Clark out of the mix? Is he too close to the Clintons?

13. My personal fear is that Clark MAY be out of the mix because
of how Obama distanced himself after "the statement".

I know Obama realizes it was spun and totally misrepresented, but it's politics. The Reps would never let it go.

I hope I'm wrong and that Obama would be willing to take that risk. I think Clark would be great. I'd prefer Biden (I think - also really like him as SOS) but would wholeheartedly endorse Clark.

28. I disagree.
I think Obama backed off and Clark shut up because they weren't ready to play that card yet. I think Clark has a great chance and if chosen, will be given the go-ahead to attack McCain.

I'd be very happy with Biden too.

I think he could help the ticket a lot, and quash a lot of the Republican lies and bullshit.

23. Would love to see an Obama/Biden ticket!
Biden was my choice early on in the campaign and when he dropped out, I moved to Obama. Having him on the ticket is almost too much to ask. He would be an outstanding choice, IMO.

24. i saw and Obama Biden Bumper Sticker yesterday
actually, it was the regular OBama bumper sticker. but they added another sticker next to it with Biden's name on it.

i was kind of surprised at actually seeing it.

but i think it shows that for those who pay attention to politics, Biden is probably one of the favorites.

26. The most telling thing to me is how quiet Biden has been. After the primary
ended Biden came out swinging. I mean he was smacking them down hard. LOL Then all of a sudden silence. Others on this board have said it is because Congress is on vacation. However, his silence started before they left. Either he has been selected or he is very close to being selected by the Obama team. Gosh if he is the one then the VP debate will be a MUST SEE!!!!!

One really negative thing is that Biden has been in the senate a long time. I'm sure he has a lot of votes that the Republicans can twist. However, John McCain has been in the senate a long time too and he has many votes that can be twisted (if the Obama campaign will do it). Hell, many of McCain's won't even have to be twisted. Just tell the truth and it is tough for McCain. Plus McCain is the top of them ticket so his votes matter more.....
