And when he said 'If I have to go to the gates of hell, I will get bin Laden.' or something like that, I thought I was watching a cheesy John Wayne movie. He also made a big mistake dissing teachers and with the stupid voucher thing. The phoney sincerity he tried to inject in his tone came off creepy, like a pedophile trying to coax a child to come closer. Ew! And it looked like the coke, or whatever upper he was on dropped off about 3/4 the way into the interview.

As far as being bellicose, he definitely was that. Some of those Republican men sure like to wave their dick around, don't they? They like to write checks our military can't cash.

10. McCain was preaching to the choir last night........knew what the questions would be,

was allowed to answer only the ones he wanted to (like "how much income is rich," for example) and even answered some before they were asked............IMO the folks he was trying to reach think in sound bites, as does the Great Maverick, and anything approaching answers like Obama offered was far to complicated to comprehend, even if the audience went in undecided.

There was a portion where he got really angry, and restive almost. The guy who interviewed him was shown, and he had this worried look in his eyes, like he knew he was screwing up.

Thank God for that darned liberal media, who came on with three of the more conservative people on MSNBC and said just how "wonderful" McCain was, and how he stole the night, having abso-fucking-lutely nothing good to say about Obama at all.

I particularly liked the fact that they were talking about how Black and White McCain was in his positions and how great that was, as if it was a good thing. We live in a technicolor world of issues, where conditions can make them change by the moment.

There's a video of Saakashvili talking (to mccain in my scneario) on cell phone while sucking his tie. Here's my take on the conversation (cross posted):

Saakashvili, "What in the hell I get for 800k?"

McCain, "Well, I had to get some new shoes and Barbie needed more meds...you heard about her arm, right? when I was a POW...."

Saakashvili, "I heard all of that shite before! what I want to know is when are you going to give me the military support you promised? we're being slaughtered on the news here! Fox is even letting people from South Ossetia talk on the show! Word will get out! You must stop them! I tell you, I can't sleep! I can't eat!"

McCain,"Well....when I was a POW, I said that's OK, I'll take your torture because I am an American and we don't back down! No, siree..."

Saakashvili , "Have you gone mad? I want my money back!"

McCain," We'll stand tall for you Russians...Georgians...I mean...the French suck, don't they? ha ha! Bomb bomb bomb, bomb Iran!"

Saakashvili , "John? John? Seriously. I want my money back."
