Isn't McCain Now Caught Between Iraq and a Hard Roe?

McCain's act was, of course, 100% for the nutcase base. But doesn't his performance put him at risk with independents and a lot of women?

He was so vicious on Roe v. Wade and the Supremes that I thought he would pledge to hunt down any woman seeking an abortion and burn her at the stake. How does he "soften" that to attract independents and women in his party who would be really upset over this?

His whole line of bullshit centered around "my war stories as POW" and stamping out the "Evil" ones. How does that play with independents and people who aren't totally nutso and who don't want any more of this war crap and certainly don't want to kick the Bear in the balls!?

I certainly hope all this becomes part of Obama campaign ads aimed at those who think Johnny cares about them and will bring peace in our time....
