The Best Reason Yet Not to Vote in November!
Pour me a drink...the ignorance of the Amurekan people never ceases to astound me. Was reading an article about why economic conditions in rural America may be favorable to Obama.

Bunch of people in rural PA were interviewed.

This hairdresser told about how tough times were for her and that her 15 year old son had to work to help her out.

She said she wasn't going to vote in the fall because what if either of these guys just makes things worse!!! Ummmm...has anyone told her that Georgie is OUT and that they are not going to leave the position vacant....one of them will have their ass in the Oval Office. And, the thing Johnny can promise her about her "boy" is that in a couple years he will have him someplace where he can get his head blown off!!! (Oh, and then there was the 70 year old who is voting for Obama but her friends say they just can't vote for a Black---bet every one of them sit in the front pew of the church every Sunday morning and congratulate themselves on what fine Christians they are). Honest to God, do you think Obama even romotely has a chance to put a dent in this "ignorance" that passes for a country?

1. There's a "Don't Vote" sign posted on the lawn of someone's home. Hubby
and I were both rather surprised by that and pondered what the thinking was behind it.

2. Some people feel the choices are mediocre.
Nothing will keep me from voting.

4. It could be that. Or lack of faith in the voting system either as a third
party voter or because of election rigging. But then, I may just be projecting a bit there. LOL

3. Sounds Like Buyer's Remorse to Me
The hairdresser probably voted for Bush twice, decided she didn't choose well, and is leaving it up to wiser heads.

If all the people who are sorry they voted for Bush don't vote, we are blessed.

6. I spent most of my life living in rural PA
where the ignorance is rampant. I'm happy to say I no longer live there, however, I find the ignorance to be common everywhere.

7. Your story is exactly why my husband refuses to have
anything to do with politics anymore. i can't talk to him about it, he won't watch or read about it. The closest i can get him to news is daily show and colbert because he says all news is comedy to him now.

We vote by mail here and in a way I get two votes as he signs his and hands it to me. Refuses to pay attention.
