Your trying to rally people here is very commendable and all, but I heard all the positive affirmations in 2004, and they really didn't work. It's our strategy that sucks, not our lack of a spine, or lack of positive thinking. I'm sorry, too much is at stake here for me to simply say, "Obama will be our next President" and think that positive affirmation is going to amount to a hill of beans. Reality is showing us that Obama does not have this in the bag, and goddamnit he should. Why? What is going on here, and what the fuck do we do about it?

Things can turn on a dime--expect the unexpected ALL THE TIME. I knew we were in for a roller coaster ride, so I am trying to do as Barack does by not getting too high when he is up, and not too low when he is down.

I truly believe there are ulterior motives at work right now, because when I have been out canvassing here is ultra conservative SW MO, I have been pleasantly surprised at most of the responses. Let it play out a bit---there is time.

As has been said by so many others here-- if you are so upset, get out and get to work by canvassing, registering voters, phone banking, etc. Barack has said from the beginning he can't do it alone.

I have a great deal of trust in my future President Obama.
