3. I voted...... I'm voting for Obama no matter who he picks

The level of enthusiasm goes up or down, but I'd never NOT vote for him.

4. I will crawl to the polls to vote for Barack Obama regardless of who his VP is.
And I will continue to donate to his campaign and turn my offices over to phone banking for him in the Fall as I have done for decades.

Anyone here who won't support Obama doesn't belong here.

Or stay home, or whatever. Same thing.

So are you going to leave DU if he picks Clinton?

unity ticket incredibly bad judgment on his part, a mistake that would leave me very worried about the sort of people he'd surround himslf with if by some greatly reduced chance he won in November.

I'd feel he'd completely failed his first major test.

I'd feel much less enthusiasm voting for him than I felt even voting for Walter Mondale.

I'd vote for him ONLY because I've always voted Democratic.

But I'd expect him to lose...and I'd blame him for the loss, for failing to unite the party, despite ALL the signs from the polls that he needed a unity ticket to make a victory over McCain most likely.

And I would not be the only one blaming him for that loss, if he loses. Because if you think the media will forget the polls showing a unity ticket would be a good idea -- including the poll showing which VP choice Democratic delegates and superdelegates favored -- you're kidding yourself. The meme will be that Obama didn't feel confident enough to have Clinton on the ticket, or was still harboring ill will toward her from the primaries, and he threw away the Democratic Party's best chance of winning, in a year when we should have won.

Editing to add that I am STILL hoping Obama will be wise enough to choose Clinton as his running mate. I have to hope that -- we need to win. Time is running out for dealing with too many crises. And that is why it makes me so angry to read messages here from people who don't want the unity ticket most experts can see is our best chance of winning.

Victory comes first. If we don't like the VP choice, we can change him/her in 2012.

24. I don't care who is on the ticket
I'll be voting Democrat.

I'm a mild flight risk with Lieberman but no worries there.

I'm on record as being down with Hillary being the nominee (and we know I'm not a strong Hillary backer).

Give me a monkey with Ouija board and an old crackhead with a magic 8 ball with (D) next to their name and I'm still in.

I'm shocked and very frightened that I live in a country that would give ANY Republican a passing thought after the last 8 years and a Democrat can expect NOTHING but hatred and anger from me for such a stupid sin against America.

If you support the fascists then you shouldn't be ashamed to be lumped in with them.
