As Richard Wolfe, Newsweek, said today on...
Keith Olbermann's, Countdown, "The people who are doing the repeating (Veep selection) are not that widely informed."

Obama's camp is trying to keep the fire aflame until the last minute...keep people guessing for interest. Wise. It's certainly working here.

I like Biden but doubt that it's going to happen. Anticipating a surprise.

Considering all the names being thrown about on this forum, someone's bound to be correct and have bragging rights. Maybe.

I wasn't going to get into these discussions in re the Obama's VP selection. I too, like everyone else, am not "widely informed."

Relax, we should all know in less than forty hours. Maybe. We are, we are, we are voting for the President of the United States, not for Veep of the United States. Obama's camp has been very smart to date...I trust they'll continue to be smart.

And yet another Veep thread...to add to the 2,500+ already posted.

5. I do. The last two choices were awful. Hopefully we'll get it right this time.
Knowing what we now know about both Lieberman and Edwards, I don't think anyone would seriously advocate either of those two.

Hopefully we won't feel the same buyer's remorse about Obama's VP choice.

3. There was someone on Hardball that said this long drawn out
guessing game has been a mistake. She said now while waiting people have started getting worked up about Hillary again. She also said that now with all the waiting people are expecting a big surprise. They expect a big splash or he won't get any kind of bump.

4. We have to get our own party in line
without depressing what we have already.

Some people are holding out or have already jumped the fence. Too many and I don't think the fence jumpers are coming back.

I don't get anyone being near the fence or having the ability to be suppressed, so I can't guess the answer here. I don't know these folks in real life or they're keeping it strictly under the hat.
What's going on in either groups mind, particularly the people that supported Clinton? I'm about utterly lost on what would make McCain the lesser of two evils, as well as why they see an evil versus maybe a less ideal good.

Are we just getting bad numbers? I suspect to some degree, if for no other reason than the 3rd parties aren't accounted for very well but are the just bunk completely? I'm leaning no.
