Don't get me wrong, I hate the prick.

But he DOES have a knack for getting scoops, so I peruse from time to time.

This election season, it seems to me that he's been more "fair and balanced" (pardon the term) than at any time in the past.

Just an observation....

1. I've been saying this for months now (mostly to myself). I don't trust Drudge so I don't know what
to make of it. But maybe he simply likes Obama better than McCain.

2. he will print anything that gets clicks. Period.
By all means, continue to make him rich by visting his vile site. Every minute the browser refreshes when you are stopped at his site and every browser refresh counts as a visit. Every vistor to his site makes him money.

3. It's you.
I readily admit he favored Obama over Hillary in the primaries. I actually liked looking at Drudge back then, but I can't stand to go there anymore. Now that it's a Dem against a Repub, he's as predictable as ever.

This is the first election cycle where I've actually visited Drudge, and I don't really understand why people hate him so much. I guess he used to be really biased? From what I can see this election cycle he gets the scoop early and has been reliable and unbiased.

8. If they have anything to use against him that they think will be especially effective,
they aren't likely to use it before the convention, while Clinton could still be nominated if RW attacks on Obama looked damaging enough.

And they're also likely to wait with any attacks that may have an impact for only a short time. The rule wih October surprises. You don't want the effect wearing off before the GE, so those have to be late in the campaign.
