smell the desperation. This is all that they have got? There are far dirtier characters in McCain's closet than Rezko.

McCain attacks Obama on Rezko
By MIKE ALLEN & ALEXANDER BURNS | 8/21/08 2:00 PM EST Text Size:

Sen. John McCain's campaign is fighting back against questions about his house holdings by opening a website focusing on past questions about Sen. Barack Obama's dealings with controversial Chicago businesssman Tony Rezko.

The campaign was getting the site ready Thursday afternoon. McCain surrogates on television were being armed with facts about Rezko's relationship to Obama's purchase of his Chicago home in 2005.

Previewing the message the campaign will seek to drive, a McCain spokesman said: "In an attempt to make something stick, Barack Obama has re-aired his dirty laundry with convicted felon Tony Rezko that led to a highly questionable land deal. Rezko’s dirty dealings are well documented and his relationship with Barack Obama goes back 20 years."

2. I remember Joy once bringing up the Keating 5 on The View.
and the Republican Elizabeth's face turned red and she said through gritted teeth. "I thought. That. he. was. CLEAREDOFTHAT!"

3. I know a little about Obama's purchase of his home and lots.
And calling it highly questionable is horseshit.

Yes Rezko is a convicted felon on federal corruption charges.

Yes Rezko and his wife are real estate professionals who helped the Obamas get the purchase of their house done.

And yes, when last I looked, the Rezko's land trust still holds title to the lot next door to the Obamas' house.

I'll tell it to McCain's face. There's nothing here to shock the conscience of even the worst Obama hater.

4. There is no comparison. Obama isn't accused of doing anything wrong. Just looks bad. McCain on
the other hand...

5. By all means, Mr. McCain--beat a dead horse
that the American people have heard about already.

At least Mr. Obama can keep track of all 1 houses he has.

6. Yup... if he opens that door, Obama will walk right on through it.
Can't do it yet though... gotta let the 'elitist' stuff work its magic first... then the next time there's a lull in coverage for Obama... SLAM.
