"On the August 20 broadcast of his nationally syndicated radio show, Rush Limbaugh asserted of attacks by Sen. John McCain against Sen. Barack Obama: "See, there are Democrats -- the drive-bys" -- a term Limbaugh uses to denote the national media -- "are just so upset with these so-called 'ferocious attacks,'" Media Matters' Asli Bashir wrote Thursday. "These have been benign. Even the Britney Spears/Paris Hilton ad was funny. It was benign." He later added: "It's -- you know, it's just -- it's just we can't hit the girl. I don't care how far feminism's saying, you can't hit the girl, and you can't -- you can't criticize the little black man-child. You just can't do it, 'cause it's just not right, It's not fair. He's such a victim.'"

The media watchdog added: "Limbaugh previously claimed that "nobody criticizes Hillary . ... Well, you might say, 'No, Michelle Obama and Mrs. Edwards are out there criticizing her,' but, see, I finally figured this one out, too. You can't hit the girl. You just -- you can't hit the girl." He continued: "And for Edwards and Obama to go out there and criticize Hillary would -- she would -- she plays the victim better than anybody does, and she could make real hay out of that. 3. Limbaugh is basically upset.

He has been upset ever since McCain was selected the GOP nominee. Limbaugh doesn't like McCain. He doesn't believe McCain is truly a conservative, and to a certain degree he is correct. But what really pisses off Rush is that he believes in his mind that his candidate can't win come November. So now he is blaming the MSM for what he believes will be a failed campaign by the GOP nominee. Obviously he doesn't like Obama either, but for different reasons. He believes Obama is going to create a massive government hand out program and raise his taxes. He also sees Obama as just another democrat trying to assert more and more socialism into the great capitalistic system we have in America. No matter the outcome this November it wont be good news for Limbaugh. In his mind he loses either way. So he is going to be very miserable these next few months, even more so than he already is. More than anything Limbaugh hates himself. When you are so full of hate, the person you ultimately hate is yourself.

The media has been criticizing Obama ever since he became the obvious Democratic front runner. They have gone after his nationality, his faith, whether he is truly American enough, and most of all if he's actually black enough. Meanwhile, every blunder McCain has made and you could literally not count them on two hands, the media has almost completely ignored and chosen to push under the rug. So Limbaugh go ahead and continue your rant.
