If this is actually anthrax (which it probably isn't) then doesn't that make Bush's DOJ/FBI look incompetent (and lends credence to the idea that Ivins maybe wasn't guilty)? If it turns out NOT to be anthrax (which it probably isn't) then what exactly other than a convenient distraction (that didn't end up distracting anybody from anything, at least not yet) can this do for McSame?
