1. I don't think things work that way in the Pub Party. THEY
promise people things. I really believe that's what happened back in 2000. The party bosses told John that it was Shrub's turn this time, but it would be HIS turn next time. Wether that was a smart move is a whold different question.
6. See what happens when a Party sez Ya gatta be a CHRISTAN to run and win...
So it happens one of your choices in the prelims is a MORMAN...waddaya do??? and so they dumped him to go for a weak POW too much gaffes and blunder history guy = McCain....who turns out to be more of a dud than first thought...
3. I think McCain was chosen precisely because the GOP knew they had about a zero chance
of securing the White House in 08. Better to let the old guy have his 15 minutes of fame to cap off a long career as opposed to waste someone with potentially a political future ahead of them, like a Romney for instance, in a no-win election cycle.
which is in no small part a comment on their weak field. Huckabee wouldn't have been as strong in the industrial states and Florida; McCain will win all the states Huckabee would have carried plus a few more.
7. No, he can't win...but the Rove and the republicans electronic voting machines can steal it for him!

If McCain & the republicans can keep it close it can & will be stolen....why not they can do it and have in the past.....what's to stop them this time?
They want a Democrat in the WH to clean up the mess and take all the blame for the damage they have done. When there is enough money in the Treasury to loot again, they will be back. This is the reason Nancy should start impeaching all of them so that they can't come back. I'm not holding my breathe though waiting for her to do it.
