from the KC Star on-line 'comment' section on the article about Barack watching Michelle's speech while in KC:

some, shall we say, 'uninformed' asshat did a by-the-numbers critique of what Michelle DIDN'T say with all the buzzwords: radical, left-wing, socialism...and of course, in caps, WRIGHT...and the next poster responded:

"She's addressed it a million times. Why are people so damn hard headed. Did you listen to anything that she said? Maybe you can't relate because you have no work ethic or maybe your parents didn't either so that's why you are ignorant and uneducated and unwilling to open up your mind and listen to the facts. Michelles father was a blue collar man who worked hard to raise his family the right way. She and her brother worked hard and became productive citizens. Being black in america is not easy. Give her and her family credit for living the american the dream and playing by the rules. You watch too much damn Fox news. As for Rev Wright. The man is definitely controversial but who cares if says goddamn america. He grew up in the days of jim crow. If america enslaved your ancestors and then gave you civil rights little by little. Then you'd be a little hateful your damn self. obama doesn't embrace those ideas. His allegiance is to god and I'm sure rev wright preached a whole lot of good also. Our country is headed in the wrong direction and has been. If you want an old man set in his ways, who cheated on his wife after she got in a car accident, who wants to go to war with iran and russia and iraq and afghanistan, who wants to keep giving tax breaks to companies who ship jobs overseas, who wants to drill for oil to put more money in big oils pocket even though it won't put a dent in the price we pay for gas and damages the environment further, who doesnt' want equal pay for women, who wants to privatize social security, who is open to having a draft. Then vote for McBush. If you want a president who wants to end the war, repair damaged relationships with our allies, has a real energy policy, knows the real value of a good education and wants to help families afford it for their kids. then vote for obama and quit letting all the negative b.s. about him affect your judgement. Is america really stupid enough to vote Bush part III into office? I pray not."

2. Good one.
It's a shame that people focus only on what they are listening for, and nothing else. I think this person wanted Michelle to grovel and ask forgiveness.

I don't see what that has to do with Barack Obama becoming the President... except some other dumb reason for people to come up with for not voting for him.

3. Lotsa Ignorant Racists Here
I deal with 'em everyday. No independent thought, just RW talking points and hate. Reading those posts form my fellow Kansas Citians was painful, just painful. More proof that KC is still a cowtown with an inferiority complex.

4. This part of a post that I posted just a few minutes ago about the MSM......
All of the talking heads at CNN, MS-NBC, and while I do not watch FOX, I am sure that their reports this morning reflect the same sort of propaganda.

They are all insisting that the democrats did not talk about ANY issues last night. That they did not even discuss issues.

Sure they did.

Michelle Obama, talked about family morals and values. She discussed their family unit. She discussed their devotion to family.

Now that is not a discussion that the right wing wants to have. They dint want to have to put John McCain's family morals and values, and especially the subject of devotion to family up to scrutiny.

Not after the way he treated his first wife. She stuck by him while he was in the POW prison.

They wont discuss how when he got home and found his wife maimed and debilitated by a car accident, he became a male slut and started whoring around with anything that would spread its legs.

How he met his new sex toy, a little rich girl named Cindy, and how she wanted a longer relationship, but there was the old lady at home still in the way.

They dare not talk about how his new girlfriend was able to finance his divorce from the old wife, and the agreement with Mrs. McCain #1 about paying her medical bills for the rest of her life. Yeah, that was part of the divorce agreement. I guess that they had a non-disclosure agreement because she will not say anything bad about the man that did her so wrong.

Sure, there was a discussion about issues, but just because they have used it (family morals and values) as an issue before, doesn't mean that they are willing to have that debate now.

Not when it is the McCains vs. the Obamas.

It is a fight McCain cant win, ergo the right wing media ignoring the issue and their reporting today that the democrats didn't talk about any.
