Why do the Republicans have all the scumbuckets?
Someone on another thread said putting Hillary on the ticket would've brought us the slimeballs who excel at attack ads and negative campaigning. Maybe. But I can't help noticing that the Republicans have - since I remember - always been much better at "going negative". Coupled with the fact that it's been shown again and again to work (see file titled "2004, Electoral Campaign" for details) and I gotta wonder:

WHY CAN'T WE HAVE SOME EFFECTIVE SCUMBUCKETS ON OUR SIDE?

Is it that Dems are nicer people? Is it that progressive politics go with a positive conception of humanity? I just don't get it.

Just read on another site that some geniuses in the Obama campaign are responding to the Ayers ad by demanding a legal investigation from the DoJ. Because that's surely gonna look like a tough response.

Sigh.

The point of the thread was to look at how we're not all that when it comes to going negative, not to name Dems we don't like!

5. We're not major liars. Research is one thing stalking
and total fabrication another.

Do like the --progressive politics goes with our concept of humanity.

7. Cleland saw a grenade on the ground -if it had been his own not the soldier beside
him as proven by forensics and or witness that bravery would not be any less.

The sub-level stories of McCrash as POW are from a wide enough source to be credible. Why would there have been circulating such real talk within the prison of seeing special treatment. A senior officer concluding McCain did not experience an extreme extra degree of torture. That's not likely a place for wild gossip.
