I liked Michelle's speech, but...

She should have attacked and yelled and pounded her fist. Then she should have taken out a photo of McCain and ripped it on stage, like Sinead O'Connor did to the Pope on Saturday Night Live.

Then when it was over, she should've pounded her chest, raised her fist and screamed, "DOWN WITH THE MAN!"

Yes, why didn't she do this? I am concerned.

...Not to me, anyway. I was in the Pabst Theater, in Milwaukee, last February, just before the Wisconsin primary.

Michelle Obama poured her whole heart and soul into one of the greatest speeches I've ever heard. REALLY.

And the only thing anyone could talk about on the news, the next day, was that one word, and how she'd dissed the country, and what an angry woman she was....

Like they were talking about someone else.

Last night's speech was good, but the one in February was better.

After she spoke, I switched from C-SPAN over to Faux to see what the deal was. Within the first 2 minutes after she spoke, they had already brought up how she didnt separate herself from Rev Wright and didn't overcome her 'For the time in my life I'm proud of the USA' comment. Go figure...
