6. They see the money making opportunity
not the problem of fossil fuels at all. Pickens will do the same thing with wind or solar or natural gas that the oil men have done with oil. We never learn.

7. No doubt, but the point is our petro-economy is unsustainable.
He also as much as admitted that Iraq and Afghanistan are resource wars, which is true, but the corollary is that the war on terror is a scam, which is also true. It's a good analysis.
