Will Hurricane Gustav ruin the Republican convention?
By reminding everyone of the atrocious Republican management of Hurricane Katrina? Will we be seeing "Heck of a job Brownie" giving interviews all over again?

1. I really hope, for the sake of that region, that it doesn't.... it's cruel to think
of death and destruction as a positive for us... that would be horribly cruel to wish anyone a hurricane.. esp. that region.. and especially since we know FEMA sucks.. So, pray that it doesn't.

2. More importantly
Will it ruin people's lives? I'm sorry but your question reminds me of the talking heads asking if a war or terrorist attack would be good for McCain. I find both disgusting.

5. This is the last thing that region of the country needs right now...
My prayers go out to them.

6. They wouldn't know about it for days anyway, like their leader.
Seriously, I really hope nothing bad happens on the Gulf coast.

7. I pray it turns into a nothing storm
Who cares about a convention compared to that.

8. Revenge of the son of Katrina.

In a town where the Republican government let their highway bridges collapse, and then blames is on bicycle riders, Gustave will blow the Wide Stance Party's party permanently out of the rose garden.

It doesn't have to be a killer storm, it just has to show up on the news.
