So I cheated from my ban on Cable News to hear the reactions to Bill Clinton's speech by the pundit class. And there is Tom Brokaw, with his non accomplished newsreading pompous ass talking about Bill Clinton and the draft and 1992.

Such a fucking regressive "legend in his own mind" asshole!

5. Oh that book
What a load of crap!

He must have gotten some marketing consultant who found a big audience in guilt-ridden baby boomers.

"How can I get this 'Ken Burns Effect' to work for me?" :dilemma:

plus in the industry, certainly at Brokaw's level; it was well known that Burns was working on The War for years & years & years

6. you cheated!
That ok, I watched too. What a fucking little PRICK. And he said "In fact, Jim Webb just repeated it to me yesterday"(Jim Webb's point in A Time to Fight about the Democratic party and the military in the past). Brokaw HAD THE QUOTE READY from Webb's book and TRAPPED HIM WITH IT yesterday, and said "Do you still believe that?" And Webb clarified and made no reference to the problems that the Democratic party actually still has with this, just said "The Democratic party must continue to present..". The fact that Brokaw had that quote ready, and brings it up tonight AS IF Jim Webb was discussing this "problem with the Democratic party" yesterday without being prompted is beyond low.

"The Democratic party still has the problem of Vietnam". I can't fucking wait until we can get past Vietnam and stop trying to re-fight it. What about the problem that the REPUBLICAN party has with that, Brokaw?
