4. That is true - one of her few saving graces
She didn't so easily forgive and forget South Carolina in 2000. I heard somewhere that she actually confronted Bush over a year later and told him exactly what she thought. I think I heard that from Matthews on Hardball - does anybody else know about this episode?

3. I doubt that.
McCain may be a lot of things, a lot of them ugly, but no one ever accused him of being malleable in the same sense that Bush is.

8. exactly. I just said this in another post.
The repub party machine is now in control. The guy up front is just the puppet. It's why McCain is not the guy we used to know in 2000 and 2004. If you want to be the repub nominee, you must relinquish control of your mind, morals, common sense and any independent thought you may have had.
